At Dorviana, we provide non-medical in-home and community-based supportive services for children, teens, and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities under Self-Determination Program (SDP). All services are tailored to each participant’s needs, goals, and family routines.
Community Living Support
Community Living Supports are non-medical, in-home services designed to support participants in their daily living environment. These services focus on safety, routine, functional living skills, and overall stability, enabling individuals to live comfortably and successfully in their own homes.
Dorviana’s CLS services are individualized and emphasize daily structure, independence, and well-being within the home setting.
Services include:
• Personal Assistance with Daily Living Activities
Support with hygiene, meals, dressing, and personal organization to promote comfort, dignity, and consistent daily functioning.
• Routine & Structure Support
Assistance with following predictable routines, managing transitions, and maintaining emotional regulation and stability throughout the day.
• Social & Emotional Support
Encouragement and guidance to support communication, emotional awareness, and appropriate social interaction within the home and daily living context.
• Home & Living Environment Support
Light household tasks directly related to the participant’s daily living needs, such as simple meal preparation, laundry, basic organization, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Health & Well-Being Support (Non-Medical)
Reminders related to daily wellness routines, comfort monitoring, and safe movement within the home. No medical or clinical services are provided.

Community Integration Support
Community Integration Supports assist participants with meaningful participation in community-based activities outside the home. These services support social engagement, skill development, and inclusion in community life through 1:1 accompaniment and assistance.
Services include:
• 1:1 Community Accompaniment
Support to participate in community-based activities such as recreational programs, classes, groups, and outings to public spaces (e.g., parks, libraries, community centers).
• Participation & Engagement Support
Assistance with following group activities, understanding expectations, engaging with peers, and navigating social environments.
• Safety & Functional Support in the Community
Support with awareness, transitions, and safe participation during community activities.
• Interest Exploration & Skill Building
Encouragement to explore personal interests, develop confidence, and build functional and social skills through real-world participation.
Community Integration Supports are designed to help participants feel included, confident, and connected as active members of their community.

Respite Services
Respite Care provides short-term, reliable support that allows families, parents, and guardians to take time for themselves while knowing their loved one is safe and cared for.
Staff create a secure and comfortable environment.
The participant’s daily needs and personal comfort are prioritized.
Activities are chosen to keep the individual engaged in ways that feel familiar and enjoyable.
Respite may be provided by the hour, day, or overnight, depending on the family’s needs.
Respite Care gives families peace of mind and the opportunity to rest or attend to other responsibilities.

Collaborative Services
Dorviana partners with a network of skilled professionals and contractors who provide complementary therapeutic, educational, and recreational services designed to support each participant’s overall development and well-being.
These programs may include:
adaptive sports and swimming instruction,
movement and body-based therapies,
art and music sessions,
tutoring and educational therapy,
mindfulness and sensory regulation activities,
and other individualized enrichment services
Through these collaborations, Dorviana ensures that every participant has access to a coordinated system of care that promotes growth, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life.
